Installation Instructions: 
You need to remove your CD/DVD drive from the cd caddy which is just a plastic frame attached to the CD/DVD drive, then attach the new drive to the cd caddy. It is very easy to remove the CD/DVD drive from the CD caddy; just remove the four screws (the screws in the back of your CD/DVD drive may need to remove as well), then you can remove the CD/DVD drive from the CD caddy.
