Single-slot ATA Read-Writer, Model UISA
This is PSI's USB port FlashReader,
model UISA, that greatly speeds up your data transfer among your digital camera,
palmtop/PDA, PC and Mac.
This FlashReader can read/write type I or II ATA flash cards and other
ATA-compliant storage cards, such as compact flash cards, microdrives,
3.3V smartmedia cards, SD/MMC, xD cards, memory sticks, etc.,
in their respective PC card
adapters. Installation is easy and transfer
rate far exceeds what parallel port models can accommodate.
* Model UISA is the
similar to the
PSIUISA2 model but without the extra smartmedia card slot!
FEATURES
- Supports 3.3V and 5V Type I and II ATA Flash PC Cards, SSFDC cards*
(3.3V SmartMedia up to 128 MB), Compact Flash (CF)
Cards*, microdrives*, memory sticks*, etc. (*:
need PCMCIA adapter).
- This reader will
not support linear flash, SRAM, LAN, wireless LAN, modem and other non-storage cards.
- Single PCMCIA slot.
- Support Hot-Swapping (insert or remove card without turning off the
system).
- Reader can be dynamically plugged in or removed from USB port.
- Suitable for desktop and mobile PC and Mac with USB port.
- High data transfer rate up to 1.5MB/sec (12 Mbits/sec).
- Active LED indication of power and read/write operation.
- Eject button for easy removal of cards.
- No external power needed.
- A compact size (4 7/8" x 3 1/4" x 7/8") with a streamline

REQUIREMENT
- IBM PC compatible computer (Pentium, P II, P III
& P IV CPU) with USB port.
- Windows 95 OSR2 (w USB support) / Windows 98 /
Windows ME / Windows 2000 / Windows XP.
- Macintosh with OS8.5 or later version.
Note: If your system has an old Iomega ZIP drive, its
driver may cause conflict. You should in this case go to Iomega's website to download the
updated new driver.
