PCMCIA 16-bit 3G Card Reader for USB : U111-530/630

Model:EL-U111-530/630

Providing a solution for customers who have purchased a 16-bit 3G card (UmTS, EDGE, GPRS) from their local network provider and wish to connect the card via a USB slot, this product can be used with laptops and desktop PCs.

This offers more flexibility for anyone who has a supported Merlin or Aircard model for use with a laptop, and provides a way to connect to high speed internet services for any who lives in an area where wired broadband Internet is not available. You can also connect to low cost laptops which are not fitted with PC card slots (e.g. the new Dell LX1 range), or any machine where the PC card slot is needed for another application.

The card is removable so the EL-U111-530/630 allows you to move your 3G connection between your laptop and desktop PC.

Note:
1. If your wireless card is not listed as the supported PC card, this model will not work! Please do not try and do not call!  Please go to here to see other options.
2. Our statistics shows that even if your card is in the Supported Cards list, due to a combination of problems involving your PC, it's OS setup, your wireless card's driver and wireless carrier, etc., the current version of  U111 USB adapter's success rate is about 80%.
3. If you don't have a wireless card yet, check here for your carrier recommended cards.
4. For desktop PC users, you can use a PCI-based internal reader as a cheaper alternative!  Please click here to check other options.
5. This model WILL NOT work for Mac PCs.
