PC Card Type II to PC/SC Smart Card Adapter provides a compact interface to smart cards to laptops and devices featuring full service PC Card slots. The adapter is designed to meet all major standards like PC/SC, ISO 7816, GSM 11.11, Home Banking Computer Interface (HBCI), and the PC-99 Specification. The Smart Card Adapter establishes a uniform interface from the computer to the smart card for a wide variety of cards. By taking care of the card specific particulars, it releases the computer software programmer of getting involved with the technical details of the smart card operation.
