You may use these SRAM cards for your notebook PCs, Palmtops/PDAs, precision agriculture devices as well as other industrial monitoring and data collecting devices such as Entek IRD Vibration Analyzer, Pfaff machine and AG yield monitors (w/o 2KB), Alesis music keyboards/synthesizers, etc.

PCMCIA Type I SRAM Cards

PSI supplies different brands and models of SRAM cards. Basically, they are all compatible. We have SRAM cards with and without 2KB attribute memory and we have cards with replaceable battery and rechargeable battery. Most, if not all, of the devices that use SRAM cards without attribute can also use cards with attribute.

Note: Some of the linear flash and SRAM cards are manufactured to be Windows-compatible, i.e. they can be read/written in a PC card slot like a hard drive under Windows. We now have software drivers for SRAM and linear flash cards under Windows O/S but not all brands of cards are supported. Due to an agreement with our manufacturers, we can only supply drivers to our customers of linear flash cards, SRAM cards and/or ISA/PCI PC card readers.

Windows XP provides native drivers for SRAM and linear flash cards with attribute only. Unfortunately, again, not all brands & models are supported. If you need to use the card(s) under Win 2000, XP and/or Vista and the cards have no attribute, please use the CSM OmniDrive USB Pro readers which have proprietary drivers for the cards.

None of the external PC card readers except the CSM OmniDrive USB Pro reader can support SRAM cards with and without attribute. Please click here for more info.

If you are not sure whether you need the SRAM cards with or without attribute, you should choose the ones with attribute which are more compatible with most devices.

Smart/Centennial PCMCIA SRAM Cards with Rechargeable Battery:
Compatible with Windows 95, 98, Me, 2000, XP & Vista.
The following SRAM cards are manufactured or supplied by Centennial/Smart. All cards have a 1 year warranty and work under Windows O/S. (To work under Win 2000 and XP, SRAM cards must have the 2KB attribute.) These cards don't come with the carrying jewel case.

SRAM Cards with Replaceable Battery:
(with dual-battery design; one inner battery and one 3 V removable/replaceable battery; plastic housing. Dual 8-bit and 16-bit data transfer.)

PSI supplies (OEM) 5V SRAM cards which are shipped with a free plastic carrying case. These cards have a 1 year warranty and are supported in a PCMCIA card slot under Windows 3.1, 95, 98, Me, 2000 & XP. However, in order to work under Win 2000, Vista and XP, SRAM cards must have the 2KB attribute.
